Referral Discounts for New Edventures Users

If you signed up for Edventures using someone’s referral link, you are eligible for a discount when you upgrade to Pro. This guide explains how it works and when the discount applies.

How do you get a referral discount?

You get a referral discount when:

  1. You sign up using a referral link (e.g. https://alpha.edventures.ai/refer/refer/ABC123).
  2. Your referral is linked to the person who shared the link with you (the referrer).
  3. You upgrade to Pro before the discount expires (valid for 90 days from the day you create your account).

When you go to the Invite & earn section to upgrade, the discount will be applied automatically if you’re eligible.

What does the discount look like?

  • The discount is a percentage off the Pro price (15%).
  • It applies to your first Pro purchase (monthly or yearly, same discount for either period).
  • The discounted price will be shown on the checkout page before you pay.

Does the discount expire?

Yes. Referral discounts are valid for 90 days from the day you create your Edventures account. After that date, the discount has expired. The expiration is shown in the checkout screen.

When does the discount NOT apply?

The discount may not apply if:

  • You didn’t sign up using a referral link
  • The discount has expired
  • You’ve already used a referral discount (e.g. on a previous Pro purchase)
  • You’ve purchased a Pro subscription before

Upgrading with a discount

  1. Go to your profile page, using the sidebar.
  2. Scroll down to Invite & earn.
  3. Click View details.
  4. Click Upgrade to Pro. This will open a Stripe checkout page. NOTE: the checkout page opens as a pop-up, and your browser might block it at the first attempt. Ensure you allow pop-ups or click the blocking message to open the pop-up window.
  5. Check that the discounted price is shown and properly applied in the checkout.
  6. Complete the payment. The discount is applied at checkout.
