Using Notes in Edventures Projects

Notes in Edventures let you capture ideas, research, and ideas that pop up in each project. You can create them manually or use Anna to generate and refine them. This guide explains how.

What are project notes?

Project notes are simple text fields you save within a project. They can be:

  • Ideas and brainstormed thoughts
  • Research summaries
  • Meeting notes
  • Drafts of value propositions or other BMC content
  • Anything you want to remember or develop later
  • and much more…

Notes are tied to a project. When you switch projects, you see the notes for that specific project.

How many notes can you have?

Your subscription tier sets the limits:

  • Free — 3 notes per project. Generate or refine with AI once per day.
  • Pro — 10 notes per project. Generate or refine with AI up to 3 times per day.

Generate or refine means how often Anna can create a new note or improve an existing one for you per day. You give Anna a brief prompt on what or how you want to edit the note, and she does the writing for you.

Creating a note

  1. Go to your project overview and open the Notes tab.
  2. Click +New note to create a note manually, or Generate note to have Anna create one for you.
  3. Enter a title (e.g. “Competitor research”, “Customer interview insights”).
  4. Enter the content — your main text.
  5. Save. Your note appears in the list and throughout the platform where Notes are available.

Generating notes with Anna

Anna can help you create notes. For example:

  • “Create a note summarising my value proposition and customer segments.”
  • “Write a note with key questions to ask in customer interviews.”

You can also ask Anna to refine an existing note.

Referencing notes in Anna chat

When you chat with Anna, you can reference a note so she has context. This is useful when:

  • You want feedback on a note
  • You’re building on an idea in the note
  • You want Anna to help refine or expand it
  • You think of a separate idea, action, or anything else that you want to save right away without interrupting your flow

Use the Idea Capture panel to attach it to your message. See Using the Idea Capture panel with Anna. Reference the note in the chat and ask for improvements. See Referencing your work in Anna conversations. –>

Editing and organising notes

  • Edit — Click a note to open and edit its title and content.
  • Delete — Remove notes you no longer need (check for a delete or trash option).

Tips

  • Use clear titles — “Customer feedback from week 1” is easier to find than “Notes 1”.
  • Reference in chat — When discussing an idea with Anna, reference the relevant note for better advice.
  • Keep notes focused — One topic per note often works better than one long note.
