Managing Your Edventures Subscription

You can change your Edventures subscription at any time. This guide explains how to downgrade from Pro to Free, cancel your subscription, or resume a cancelled subscription.

Where to manage your subscription

  1. Open the sidebar and click on your name in the bottom left corner.
  2. This opens up your profile page.
  3. Scroll down to the Subscription settings section, showing your current plan and a View details button.

Downgrading from Pro to Free

If you’re on Pro and want to switch back to Free:

  1. Go to the Subscription settings section as described above
  2. Click the View details button.
  3. You’ll see the two subscription tiers in front of you. Look for the option to Downgrade to Free.
  4. Confirm your choice. You may be asked to confirm in a dialogue.

What happens when you downgrade:

  • Your subscription will switch to Free at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for active subscriptions.
  • You’ll keep access to Pro features until the period ends - make the most of it!
  • After that, you’ll be on the Free tier and need to stay within Free limits (e.g. fewer projects, fewer chat messages, etc.). Some features may be restricted until you upgrade again.

Downgrading and cancelling a Pro subscription is the same thing in our platform.

Cancelling a scheduled downgrade of your subscription

If you’ve confirmed you want to downgrade your Pro subscription before your period ended but want to remove the scheduled downgrade, do the following:

  1. Go to the Subscription settings section as described above
  2. Click the View details button.
  3. You’ll see the two subscription tiers in front of you. The Free tier will have a button saying “Cancel downgrade with a text below the button saying when the scheduled downgrade will take place.
  4. Click on Cancel downgrade.

Note: If your subscription has already ended and you’re back on Free, you can upgrade again by following the steps in How to upgrade to Edventures Pro.
