Using the Idea Capture Panel with Anna

The Idea Capture panel is a side panel that appears when you’re chatting with Anna. It shows your Business Model Canvas, action plans, and notes so you can quickly reference them in your conversation. This guide explains how to use it.

What is the Idea Capture panel?

The Idea Capture panel is a collapsible panel that sits on the right of the Anna chat. It gives you quick access to:

  • Action plans — Your plans and action points
  • Notes — Your project notes

Instead of switching to another screen, you can browse and reference your work without leaving the chat.

How to open the panel

  1. Open Anna chat for a project.
  2. Look for the Idea Capture icon on the right.
  3. Click it. The panel will expand from the side.

How to close the panel

Click the close button or the Idea Capture icon again. The panel will hide, and you’ll have more space for the chat.

Tips for using Idea Capture

  • Keep it open while chatting — You can use multiple items in one conversation without closing the panel.
  • Use it for follow-ups — After Anna gives advice, reference the updated item and ask: “Does this look better?”
  • Switch between tabs — Move between action plans, and notes as your conversation shifts.

When the panel is most useful

The Idea Capture panel is especially helpful when:

  • Working with Anna in parallel to your action plans
  • You’re discussing something with Anna and need to take a note separately, outside of the chat
