Verifying Your Email

An crucial step of the onboarding process is verifying your email address. This confirms that the email is yours and helps keep your account secure. This guide explains why it matters and how to do it.

Why verify your email?

Email verification is important because it:

  • Confirms your identity — Edventures knows the email belongs to you and not a bot.
  • Activates your account — You can’t fully use the app until your email is verified.
  • Protects your account — It helps prevent someone else from signing up with your email.
  • Enables recovery — If you forget your password, you’ll need access to this email to reset it.

How to verify your email

Step 1: Sign up

When you create your Edventures account, you enter your email address and password. After you submit the form, we send a verification email to that address.

Step 2: Check your inbox

  1. Open the email app or service you used to sign up.
  2. Look for an email from Team Edventures with the subject “One last step [your name] before you can explore the Edventures platform!”.
  3. Check all your inboc folders, including promotions, newsletter, spam or junk folders if you don’t see the email in your inbox within a few minutes from requesting the email.
  1. Open the email.
  2. Click the verification link in the email. It will take you to the login page of the Edventures app.
  3. Your account is now verified.
  4. Login to continue with the onboarding.

What if you didn’t receive the email?

  • Wait a few minutes — Verification emails can take a short time to arrive.
  • Check all your inbox folders — Sometimes they end up in promotions, newsletter, spam or junk.
  • Check the address — Make sure you entered the correct email when signing up.

After verification

Once your email is verified, you can proceed with the onboarding and start using the platform.
