Your Edventures profile shows who you are to other users and helps Anna personalise her advice. You can update your profile at any time. This guide explains how.
Where to edit your profile
- Open the sidebar and click on your name in the bottom left corner.
- This takes you to your profile page.
- On your profile page, click the pen icon in the top right corner to open the edit overview.
What you can change
Basic information
- First name and last name — Your display name in the app.
- Bio — A short description of yourself. This helps others understand your background and interests.
Personal details
- Date of birth — You must be at least 16 years old to use Edventures.
- Gender — Optional. Used for personalisation.
- Location — Share with us where you’re based. This is crucial for context and for Anna to be more relevant when supporting you.
Profile photo
- Profile picture — You can upload a new photo or remove your current one.
How to change your photo:
- Click on your profile picture.
- Choose a photo from your device.
- Crop the photo to your liking and click “Use photo”.
- Confirm your changes by clicking “Save”.
Interests
A collection of areas of entrepreneurship that interest you (e.g. technology, finance, retail). You can add or remove topics at any time. This helps Anna tailor her advice.
Saving your changes
After editing, click Save to apply your changes.
Tips for a good profile
- Use a clear photo — A recognisable photo helps when collaborating with team members.
- Keep your bio concise — A few sentences about your background and goals are enough.
- Update your topics — As your interests change, update your topics so Anna stays relevant.
